On today’s episode of The Engineer-ish, the Martins discuss representation in STEM and what they would like to see happen in the near future. The idea of being outnumbered in settings is a collective feeling that many minorities have felt. Drew talks about minority ties and how there is an unspoken mental connection when black people are passing each other or are in the same room. They also speak on their culture shock experiences that they were faced with early in life and how those experiences became defining moments in their lives.
