On this special Fourth of July episode, we celebrate our cherished freedoms by recounting the beautiful poem that led to our national anthem: "The Star-Spangled Banner." Not just its well-known first verse, but we visit all four. It was famously written by Francis Scott Key as the smoke was clearing following the bombardment of Fort McHenry by British ships during the Battle of Baltimore in the War of 1812. Old Glory was flying triumphantly then and still does today. Our nation, her flag, and her national anthem all remain beacons of hope to the world. Over this holiday weekend, they will reminder us of who we are once again. Happy Independence Day, America! Tune in, won't you?
