THE EROTIC PROJECT presents:

SEEK / Documenting Real Intimacy

a conversation between Allis Chang + Lendl Tellington

Allis Chang (They/them) @titwillo is a nonbinary Taiwanese-American artist based in Philadelphia. Their work explores the beauty of impermanence, longing, + human relationships. They utilize natural materials to echo the ever-present connection between nature + humanity. Allis finds the authentic expression of the individual to be the most important aspect of an image. They hope their work invites the viewer to observe an intimate + transient daydream that may otherwise go unseen.
Lendl Tellington (He/him) @lendltellington is a versatile storyteller working across film, photography, journalism, + experiential art. His practice centers the subversion of aesthetic traditions to more accurately depict the nuance within our experiences. He hones in on the seemingly humdrum existence behind popular history + present moment as means to contextualize the contributions of marginalized communities. When he’s not behind the camera, Lendl is the Technical Director of the Blackstar Film Festival. Lendl splits his time between Philly + Baltimore.
ALLIS + LENDL are both creative contributors to THE EROTIC PROJECT.
THE EROTIC PROJECT is inclusive + accessible eroticism as self care for our collective healing. THE EROTIC PROJECT includes a multitude of diverse creative contributors featured in the SOFT erotic publication, FEEL erotic prompt card deck, free accompanying audio book, + the short film SOFT HARD SLOW, produced by Aubrié Costello.

“Hi, I'm Aubrié Costello. I'm the creator of THE EROTIC PROJECT, an ongoing inclusive, accessible, trauma-informed collaborative multimedia erotic art project exploring slow pleasure practice as mutual care for our collective healing. I am curating + co-creating original work with over 40 established + emerging artists from Philadelphia, Los Angeles, + Mexico City. Together, we're thoughtfully developing + mindfully creating literary resources, sensory experiences, + community events for all.
THE EROTIC PROJECT centers BIPOC LGBTQIA+ voices. We believe that having space to reimagine the power of self care should not be a luxury. With the utmost care, we are creating safe spaces to reconnect, express, + explore.
