Today's episode features questions pertaining specifically to business owners in the Vancouver area, but answers that will provide value and scope to business owners anywhere.

( 00:48 - 04:45 ) I'm a realtor in the Vancouver area and because of the market slow down my business has suffered, and is affecting my relationship with my spouse. Advice?
( 04:45 - 06:58 ) I own a taxi in Vancouver - Uber is coming now. Do I sell my taxi and drive Uber or stick with my taxi?
( 06:48 - 10:05 ) I am a chef in Vancouver and my dream is to open up a restaurant, but the commercial lease prices in Downtown are very expensive. Do I take a chance and open up downtown or go to the suburbs where it's cheaper, but the clientele isn't there.
( 10:05 - 11:51 ) I work as a general manager for a company In Vancouver and my boss would like to retire and sell his company. I have been managing the day to day operations for 5 years and I know this business very well. I deal with clients directly and have the respect of all the workers. I am the best person to buy this business and my boss would love to sell me the business. My problem is I do not have the money to buy the company. I have tried getting a loan and either I get turned down or the interest rate is so high that the business will not be able to pay the loan. Any outside of the box ideas?
( 11:51 - 13:43 ) I own my business around the Vancouver area (would rather not say the type of business or location) and my business has been for sale the past few years. I've had some people interested but financing was a problem for them. Another problem is my business is in a dying industry locally. I own the property (a few acres) we own all the equipment and product and the company has no debt either. What can I do?
( 13:43 - end ) Closing remarks on innovation, dying industries, and Vancouver business/real estate.
