And the things you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses entrust to reliable people who will also be qualified to teach others. -- 2 Timothy 2:2.

Welcome to The Faithful Steward Podcast! Our aim is to equip you to pass on Biblical principles of stewardship to your congregation. Host and author James Lenhoff, a Certified Financial Planner, has 23 years of experience in guiding individuals, couples, and families into faithful financial management and planning.

Talking about money is hard. Our congregations don't want to hear it, especially when they think that it's all about getting them to give more to the church. And, too often, it is. But stewardship is more than generosity. It's about how we manage all of God's resources. And it's not just for people in debt; stewardship is a core element of discipleship.

Our congregations are hearing about money - and most of what they're hearing isn't drawing them closer to God. The church needs to counter the self-centered messages of the culture with a God-centered vision of stewardship.

The Faithful Steward recognizes that stewardship is first of all understanding that God created and owns all things. The resources we've been given have been given to us to manage for His glory. Stewardship is about more than just money; it's about all of our lives.

Join us to learn how a Faithful Steward thinks Biblically about finances and about all of life, and how to encourage your congregations toward faithful stewardship.
