Hosts Ben Ennis and Brent Gunning start off with the NBA and recent comments by agent Rich Paul about how interested Masai Ujiri is on Bronny James. B&B discuss if this is just trying to drum up more interest in his client, or if they believe there is truth to it, as well as the upside of selecting him in the upcoming NBA Draft. The hosts welcome on Sportsnet’s own Michael Grange to get his thoughts on the matter and the Raptors' off-season (9:23). The trio dive into some takeaways from the NBA Finals, before looking into the Canadian men’s national basketball team and the Olympic roster that was announced yesterday; who made the cut, who missed out, the role certain players will need to play and the overall expectations for this squad should be ahead of camp. Next the morning pair turn their attention to the pitch and bring on James Sharman of the Footy Prime podcast to look at Copa America 2024 getting underway today and Canada’s men’s national team who face off against World Cup “holder” Argentina later today (26:32). They get into the Canadian program with a new head coach and captain; what both bring with them to this team and what we should expect from them. The trio dive into the growth of the program as a whole; getting the momentum moving forward again especially after what some deemed a disappointing World Cup performance.
