The Philadelphia Phillies beat the Saint Louis Cardinals 4-3 to win their second consecutive series. Aaron Nola Through six innings allowing just two earned runs to pick up his second win of the season. JT Realmuto returned from taking a wild pitch off his throat to record two hits on the day. Nick castellanos got his third hit in two days with an RBI single in the sixth inning that proved to be the difference in the ball game period Jeff Hoffman recorded the save.
Phillies manager Rob Thomson tinkered with the line up a bit moving Brandon Marsh up to the 6th hole and Bryson Stott to the 8 hole. Marsh rewarded his manager with an RBI single in the sixth. Stott also got an infield single in the game.
The 76ers got some help last night with The Mavericks beating the Heat. The Miami loss drops them a full game behind the 76ers in the Eastern Conference standings Sixers still trail the Pacers and the Magic by one game for the 5th and 6th seeds in the Eastern Conference. Sixers host the magic Friday night at 7:00.
