The first five years of marriage can be the most exciting and challenging times for a couple. You’ll find plenty of joy in those early years, but you also can experience some harsh realities, once the honeymoon phase has passed. The journey is different for every couple. There’s no set pattern because every couple is different. This episode is very important because data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention suggests that about 22% of first marriages end within the first five years - due to divorce, separation, or annulment.
