Miguel Bujanda joins Bamby Salcedo in the studio to share the journey that led to his role as Executive Director of REACH LA, a youth-driven organization serving African American and Latinx LGBTQ youth of Los Angeles, California. Listen to Miguel open up about growing in the San Gabriel Valley, coming to terms with changing the pattern of doing things the easy way, and how he uses his experiences to help inspire his team.
The four pillars of REACH LA address the social determinants of health on an individual level, thereby ensuring the continuous growth of our valued clients. They include factors such as socioeconomic status, education, physical environment, employment, and social support networks, as well as access to health care. We designed our interconnected programming to comprehensively address different facets of a young person’s life while adapting to their strengths and needs.
