In this episode, we speak to Gris Muñoz, a poet and storyteller known for her bilingual poetry and short-story collection, Coatlicue Girl – which was most recently named a finalist for the John A. Robertson Award for Best First Book of Poetry by the Texas Institute of Letters. In our conversation, she talks about why the book took her over 13 years to write; how living near the Texas-Mexico border has shaped her work; and she also speaks about the other innovative projects that she’s working on.
