This week we’re bringing you the one-of-a-kind Deanna de Petro. Deanna is a Melbourne-born and bred fashion powerhouse entrepreneur, co-founder of super cool label Mossman, self-confessed gym junkie and perfectionist.
Deanna’s enthusiasm and passion for fashion began at a young age and was heavily influenced by her mother, a seamstress who designed and created all of the family’s clothes.
Deanna and her business partner Ben, started running Mossman 10 years ago and are so proud of the journey they’ve been on with the brand and releasing amazing, beautiful, bold and incredibly successful campaigns.
Listen in as Deanna shares her story of the risks, challenges, triumphs and how the business has evolved over the years. She originally found it difficult and uncomfortable to be the face behind the designs in Mossman but learned that people really respond to it so has started embracing it on social media.
Deanna and Ben have built a fabulous partnership built on trust. Together they have connected with local and overseas manufacturers and Deanna encourages you to persevere, stay positive and keep manifesting to the universe when you’re finding it so hard to put yourself out there and start something new.
