The CNN presidential debate is tonight, and this is the first contest between President Biden and former President Trump this election cycle. It will make US history as the earliest presidential debate, airing two months before the candidates are officially nominated at their respective conventions. Voters and pundits alike are sure to be watching closely to see which candidate emerges victorious, as the next debate is slated for months away in September. Director of the FOX News Decision Desk, Arnon Mishkin, joins to discuss how debates can make or break a campaign, their importance in past elections, and what to expect from each candidate’s performance.

The Supreme Court laid down a 6-3 ruling in Murthy v. Missouri, with the majority deciding that the plaintiffs did not have standing in the case where they alleged the Biden administration coerced social media companies into censoring "misinformation" about the COVID-19 pandemic. The High Court also made an error this week, accidentally posting a decision in the Idaho emergency abortions case stating that abortions would be allowed in cases of emergency in the state. FOX News contributor and former Assistant U.S. Attorney Andy McCarthy joins the podcast to explain why the court ruled against Missouri in the social media case and weigh the outcomes of the potential Idaho decision.

Plus, commentary by Jimmy Failla, host of “Fox Across America with Jimmy Failla.”
