Following security failures that led to the near-assassination of former President Trump, in a Monday House Oversight Committee hearing, both Republicans and Democrats alike called for the resignation of U.S. Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle. At the same time, there is a momentum shift in Washington as Vice President Harris rallies support to run for president in November after President Biden dropped out of the race. Now, some GOP lawmakers argue that if the President is unfit for reelection, Harris should invoke the 25th Amendment and take control. House Intelligence Committee Chairman Mike Turner joined the Rundown to discuss security failures at the Trump rally in Butler, PA, and how they create international security concerns. Later, he addresses major concerns about how the Democrats’ nomination process appears to be subverting democracy.

Shortly after President Biden’s announcement that he would withdraw from the 2024 race, Congressional Republicans started to call for his resignation. These lawmakers argue that if the President is not mentally fit enough to run for president, then perhaps he is also not mentally fit enough to continue his term. FOX News Senior Congressional correspondent Chad Pergram joins to discuss the calls for resignation and compare President Joe Biden's decision to President Lyndon B. Johnson's choice to drop out of the 1968 election.

Plus, commentary by a former investment banker and author of 'You Will Own Nothing,' Carol Roth.
