One of the most common challenges that parents who are also business leaders face is time shortage. This is because they tend to think that they should be doing everything, and although they strive for some balance in their lives, there’s always something that falls through the cracks, leaving them with a sense of guilt.
Olessia Lapina, Human Resources Consultant and Founder of Lapina Consulting, has been trying to find work-life balance for a while now. Since she recently started her own consulting firm and has a family (including a toddler), Olessia feels like she doesn’t have time to be fully present in either parts of her life, and she’s been feeling guilty about it.
Perhaps Olessia can think a little bit differently about her roles and responsibilities instead of looking for perfect balance. That way she can enjoy the ride and go along with all its ups and downs.
