This week, we get to discuss a new topic for the show. Our guest for this episode is Zach Melcher. Zach is a professional volleyball player. Most recently, Zach played professional volleyball in the Czech Republic until COVID-19 altered the plans for the season a little bit. Zach just finished his first year, so he brings an interesting perspective to the conversation as he can accurately compare his time in the Czech Republic to his time playing at GCU. In addition, since it is so recent, Zach can and does give step-by-step instructions to how he was able to play overseas. One awesome advantage to playing sports overseas is the fact that you are being paid to travel and play the sport that you love. Zach adds even more optimism to any of you hoping to travel when playing volleyball when he discusses a friend of his and all the places he was able to travel two while playing in Europe.
