In the 45th and a half part of the podcast that comes mostly once a month, mostly, our sufferers of space madness set out on an elongated lark through the multimedia associated with Aliens not aliens; the extraterrestrial extroverts expatiate extensively by examining all of the games associated with the Alien franchise, the cartoons and toy lines, and the feature-length movies including the 6 fan-made shorts that were released to mark such a momentous milestone. During this tolerance test our xenophobic Xenomorphs mention NERD Fright Fest, Goldeneye, Detective Pikachu, Conan Exiles, H.R. Giger, Mighty Max and Polly Pocket, Ridley Scott and James Cameron, Predator vision, Peter Mayhew, Dark Horse Comics, and we receive a message from The Gaming Times; we pilot a revamped Correspondence segment, propose our Alien game concept, and we debate the unethical techniques movie directors employ that allow them to capture the genuine terror of actors. Before slipping back into their cryostasis chambers until July, the Camberwell Carrots talk about Korn, jackfruit and seitan, Conan O’Brien, TCP, Lana Del Ray, carveries, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Xen politics, Winona Ryder, and we analyse the alternate Alien 3 script; we provide our ideas for Xenomorph variants, inaugurate a new member into the Fellowship, and we close the show with an appropriately themed Ross’ Playlist. Substandard anecdotes include Thom steering a stricken ship, Simon double concentrating and Ross being allergic to Pokémon.
