Seth Maschmeier and his wife Karah, owners of Gambinos Pizza in Kearney, have a great story when it comes to the roller coaster ride of being a small business owner.
With opening getting pushed back a month to early 2020, three weeks after the birth of their youngest child, to the "honeymoon phase" that comes with a new restaurant in town, and then the COVID-19 pandemic, which changed the game for everyone.
The Maschmeiers have experienced their fair share of ups and downs with their restaurant.
I enjoyed sitting down with Seth to talk more about their journey, what they have learned along the way, and what he thinks is the hardest part about being a small business owner.
