On the day of William Shatner's launch into space aboard a Blue Origin rocket, Kevin and Mike discuss the implications of Captain Kirk's sub-orbital adventure. Is this merely a high-flying joyride for billionaires and the cultural elite? Or is this the beginning of more broadly accessible space flight and an expression of deep human longings? Is it perhaps a bit of both? And since we were off last week, we also discuss the past two episodes of Star Trek: Lower Decks: Season 2, Episode 8, "I Excretus," and Season 2, Episode 9, "wej Duj."
