The pastor as father is an oft-debated topic. In this episode, we not only discuss the importance of being what Luther in the Large Catechism calls "a father in office at church,” but also more importantly being a father in blood at home. Those who have been given the gift of children and are thus “fathers in blood” have a duty to be present, not only physically there but also plugged in when you are there.
