Nerissa Golden is Founder of Maverick Endeavours. As an award-winning media strategist, business innovations specialist, dynamic speaker, and author, Nerissa has been an advocate for entrepreneurship across the Caribbean for more than fifteen years. In 2016, Nerissa founded Maverick Endeavours which is focused on supporting entrepreneurs start and grow businesses. She was certified by InfoDev-World Bank to conduct an accelerated programme for women on Montserrat and Antigua, and is a mentor with the Branson Centre for Entrepreneurship Caribbean. Ever passionate about empowering others to live on purpose, she is a popular speaker at conferences and workshops and has also organized her own events including the Young Entrepreneurship Symposiums across the region and Beyond the Screen – a filmmaking workshop. Nerissa has developed both for profit and not for profit ventures including Victory Christian Academy (VCA) on St. Maarten, now in its eleventh year, and is an established author of six books including Love’s Sweet Joy, and The Making of a Caribbeanpreneur: Strategies for Overcoming Fear and Building Wealth. As the CEO of Goldenmedia, Nerissa helps her clients leverage traditional and new media to build their brands. She lives on the island of Montserrat where she manages two digital media outlets Discover Montserrat and Emerald Vibes Television.
