The Great Education Struggle

Is there a scriptural mandate for education for Christians and if there is, is public school the antithesis of this mandate? Join public school teacher, and author Ray Fournier as we discuss this very important topic.

This is the delayed episode I mentioned back in episode 32. It was delayed for reasons I am choosing to disclose at this time however, I do hope I will be able to discuss it later.

Ray Fournier is a Public School Teacher with 15 years of experience teaching high school Biology and Earth Science. His personal experience as a public school teacher as well as what the Word of God says concerning education led him to write his book Education Reformation.

Education Reformation presents a gospel centered, Great Commission focused, Biblical case against public education and calls for Christian parents, pastors, and the American church as a whole to return to the Word of God for how to educate our children.

Ray Fournier encourages Christian parents to abandon the public schools and to provide for them a Biblically Christian education either in a home-school setting or at a Christian School dedicated to teaching a purely Biblical worldview.

In the public school classroom, Ray Fournier bases his teaching on the scientific method; on what is observable, testable, and repeatable. All knowledge that has been derived in this way is consistent with the Bible and a Biblical worldview. But sadly, he is prevented from teaching a Biblical worldview as a public school teacher.

Outside of school, Ray Fournier is a local evangelist and “Watchman” for the church as he preaches the gospel and warns the church of the spiritual dangers of public education.
