Coach Jody joins the 25th year birthday-bash celebration with American Heritage Girls Executive Director and Founder, Patti Garibay. Grab a cup of coffee and gather around the legendary kitchen table and join our conversation.

Patti Garibay, a mom, wife, and volunteer, was perfectly content in her life. But everything changed in 1993. After witnessing moral deviations from their core values, Patti knew it was time to take a stand against the giant, the Girl Scouts of the USA (GSUSA). Instead of cursing the darkness, she was inspired to light a candle. Patti built a legacy, a hope, and a future for generations to come. Her new book, "Why curse the darkness when you can light a candle" Patti chronicles the humble beginnings of American Heritage Girls, now the fastest-growing scout-type organization for girls. Coach Jody (a former AHG volunteer, national staffer, and friend of AHG) speaks with Patti about the legacy she began and invites you into the story.
