Following the release of rapper Enny’s incredible “Peng Black Girls” , a stir was created on the timeline as a result of the sheer quality of the track and the celebration of black women of all kinds. However, following the release of the remix featuring Jorja Smith and excluding Amia Brave, a divide was created on social media as a result of people believing the decision was colorist and unfair to not only Amia, but dark skinned women. In order to get into it properly, we had to get a peng black girl of our own in Abibat (abs.tract_ ) to properly delve into the optics of the decision and whether it was purposeful or not. Thank you guys for supporting as always and don’t forget to like, comment and subscribe!
