For this Week’s Episode of The Green Line Radio Show, Art Del Cueto is hoarse and tells us the story about yelling his support for kids at a ballet dance competition. Shifting into the latest in what is happening in regards to the Agency, a story broke about Chief Owens and RGV Sector Chief Chavez possibly meeting with a Tequila Maker and businessman which has raised concerns. Art tells us about this because in a press segment which was supposed to focus on the Border Bill and situation along the Southern and Northern Border he was asked about this "tequilagate" and reitterates this is still an investigation. Art shares why he is not a fan of Law Enforcement collaborating with a Tequila Maker which could have been the idea for the Border Patrols 100th Commemoration.
To highlight those thoughts, Art shares with us a tragic story of an Agent out of Texas Lupe Hurtado that was killed along with other family members after a suspected driver under the influence ran into his families vehicle during a vacation near the Grand Canyon. Art was familiar with Agent Hurtado's family as they father was from the Douglas Area.
Art had a very strained expression on his face at a press conference and we get the story of why. Art was talking about the support of the Secure the Border Bill going to the ballots in November. He noticed some very cool shirts in the crowd, Luchadore. He even told one of those wearing the Shirt that is was a great looking shirt, not knowing those wearing the shirts were Activist with Living United for Change in Arizona. The wearers of the shirts though weren't happy with Art's speech. Art talks about comments from some that have declared the Secure the Border Bill as Racist and is disappointed that some chose this as an argument.
