Stefanie's guest this week is Andrew Brown.
Andrew is the CEO and co-founder of Toolfetch, an extensive online eCommerce platform specializing in tools, equipment, and safety supplies for the industrial and construction supply industries. Founded alongside his brother, Toolfetch has grown into one of the largest suppliers in the sector, boasting over 6,000 partnerships with top industry brands and a catalog of more than 2,000,000 products available for rapid shipment. Andrew is also a LinkedIn influencer in the trades and the host of the podcast "The Lost Art of Skilled Trades," where he shares insights and stories to further support and promote the skilled trades industry.
Andrew's commitment to the trades was profoundly influenced by his experiences on September 11th, 2001. At 23 years old, he witnessed the devastating attacks in New York City and felt compelled to help. Volunteering at ground zero, he was moved by the dedication of EMS workers, firefighters, and tradespeople. This experience inspired him to advocate for the trades and honor those who contribute tirelessly to their communities. Leaving his IT job, Andrew dedicated himself to building Toolfetch and promoting the skilled trades through the Skilled Trades Advisory Council Foundation (STAC), an organization he co-founded to raise awareness and create opportunities in essential professions such as electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and construction.
