As the FBI’s former head of counterintelligence, Frank Figliuzzi, a national security analyst for NBC News and a popular guest on MSNBC cable shows, served as special agent with the FBI for twenty-five years, rising to become assistant director charged with leading the Bureau’s famed Counterintelligence Division.
