Friends, you are not alone. ✋🏾 All of us have felt anxiety one time or another, whether it be before a big test or public speaking. However, some people experience anxiety more than others. On this week’s episode of The Hello MaximizHer podcast, I invite my new empowHered friend from New Zealand, Summer Williford, to share her personal story of overcoming depressive thoughts and her ongoing struggle with anxiety BUT with Jesus + therapy she has a new perspective centered on optimism and hope. If you are not personally affected by mental illness, it is highly likely that you know someone – a family member or friend – who is struggling with mental health issues. What you suppress will eventually manifest in the most undesirable ways. Asking for help is the first step in getting the support and resources you need to live a more rewarding and fulfilling life - mind, body and soul.
