Due to Covid 19 we are not able to bring you new episodes of The Hero Podcast at the moment. Recording virtually brought some challenges and as the premise of The Hero Podcast is sitting down with someone and chatting to them in person I decided to take a few weeks off until I can do that again safely. For now, I am resharing some of the early episodes in a REWIND SERIES. This week we look back at Episode 7 from November 2018 with the incredible Niamh O Donoghue.
I had watched from afar as she experimented, innovated and worked her ass off to the role of Digital Leader at Image Magazine, rumour had it she had approached Image while still at college and insisted they give her a job. Behind her big smile, warmth and colourful style is a story that might break some but has given her the drive and determination to live the life of her dreams. At the start of the episode I talk about how I think she is one to watch, a future Irish icon. She mentions how she gets up every morning and thinks about her future desk at Condé Nast...18 months on guess where she works now?? Yup!
