Intro

Tiffany Philips Founder of Learning Made Easy Publishing was inspired by the negative impact virtual learning had on young children during and since the pandemic. She believes that it’s incredibly difficult to replicate the benefits of an in-person learning environment to young kids in a digital space. After seeing how ineffective virtual learning was for young kids to grasp fundamental concepts, she started Learning Made Easy Publishing.

She thought back to her childhood, where in addition to attending traditional school, her mom was heavily involved in her early learning, encouraging her through assorted workbooks, reading with her, and testing her knowledge leading Tiffany to reap the benefits of her mom’s involvement. So, taking inspiration from the advantages her mom’s presence and the resources her mom utilized and so the Handwriting Activity Workbook was born!

Top three takeaways

  1. Handwriting opens our brains up for learning by activating more areas of the brain than using a keyboard does.
  2. Studies show that students retain information better when working with new ideas through handwriting than typing.
  3. A solid foundation is the key to learning, it’s never to early to get the edge up on education!
