Albiet, this being an abnormally long podcast by normal standards, this podcast sheds light on the journey that took Liz Oyervides from being one of the very few girls in a family of 12 male cousins, embracing and and falling in love with the sport of basketball. During this podcast, the listener will follow the trials and tribulations faced by trying to participate, grow and thrive in a predominately male driven and popularized sport and profession. From as a young girl practicing in an air condition-less church, to getting an opportunity to train at the A&M basketball facility. As COVID has changed the lifestyle of the entire world as we currently know it, Liz managed to coach a high school volleyball team to the state competition
