As an integrative health practitioner, I have always had an interest in all forms of health and medicine, especially those that use a holistic approach to healing. And of them all, Ayurveda is truly a lifestyle science that not only addresses creating balance and harmony within your body, but within the world around you.

Nidhi Pandiya is a third-generation Ayurvedic practitioner and brings this ancient wisdom and science into a modern world to unlock the universe, help you to understand your body rather than make assumptions, and not treat— but transform your health and life.

Episode HYElights:

  • What is Ayurveda, and its connection to all of life
  • Understanding the 5 elements within nature and in the body
  • How to identify your imbalances, what elements you are lacking and the ways to replenish them
  • The three dosas (types) that make up all things
  • Why you don’t need to know your dosha to practice Ayurveda (I loved this!)
  • The relationship between air (vata) imbalances, gut issues and mental health
  • The 3 most important takeaways to start embracing Ayurveda
  • Why “you are what you eat” isn’t exactly true…
  • Ayurveda’s take on popular fads
  • The gap between modern science and Ayurveda
  • The importance of counseling and seeking support through healing
