It all started with a boat crash that killed Mallory Beach. From there, the Murdaugh family, and more specifically, Alex Murdaugh's life started to fall apart and in epic fashion no less. In part two of this three part series, we'll explore the murders and Maggie and Paul Murdaugh and how the investigation led to the reopening of another South Carolina cold case--the death of Stephen Smith who was found on a Hampton County road in 2015.
