In this episode, we explore how best to answer perhaps the trickiest type of questions in the IELTS Reading paper: True / False / Not Given.

We use the following text to demonstrate how to answer this type of question.

Manchester United’s disappointing on-pitch performance this year inevitably impacted upon their turnover. Previously the world’s richest club, Deloitte considers both Real Madrid and Barcelona wealthier than United, indicating that their lack of success on the pitch has resulted in falling levels of profit. Despite continuing to enjoy the benefits of substantial television revenues and lucrative sponsorship deals, unless there is a prompt return to the glory days of the 90s and 2000s, United will continue to suffer negative financial consequences.
