A.J. Davis is originally from Nashville, TN. Having grown up in the church and raised by a supportive mom and grandma, he credits much of who he is today to his faith and his family. In life, A.J. strives to live by the motto of “everything is figureoutable.” This has never been truer than throughout his academic pursuits. A.J. attended the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga where he earned a degree in Marketing and Entrepreneurship. Upon completion of his Bachelor’s, A.J. decided to further his education by pursing a Master of Arts in Theological Studies (M.A.T.S.) from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.

He returned to Chattanooga in 2019 to earn a Master of Business Administration. Formerly, A.J. worked in UTC’s Division of Diversity and Engagement, but now serves as the Vice President of Community Engagement at the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Greater Chattanooga. There, he oversees volunteerism for the organization as well as philanthropic partners with local McDonald’s owner/operators. In his free time, A.J. enjoys hanging out with friends, traveling, reading, playing Skip-Bo, being a dog uncle, hiking, and sometimes doing absolutely nothing on the couch.
