I have a claim: Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning are already dead again, the hype is gone and nobody is talking about it anymore. The hype train moved on to the next topic. Nobody cares if your startup does anything with ML anymore. Or am I wrong? I guess Tarek totally disagrees with me. OK, what is actually the state of AI and ML? Where is it really used right now? And what happened to all those promising startups, which were faking voices, people or creating awesome things with the power of neural networks?! Is the only thing staying from the last hype that every company needs a team of Data Scientists? We have a word or two to say about this topic!

Welcome to The Innovation Engineer Podcast, your favorite place for picking brains of your favorite engineers. This time we ask ourselves what happened with the hype around Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning and what’s currently state of the art. I will live on forever, as a dead bot!
