Welcome to season 3, episode 12 of The Inquizition a podcast for quiz and trivia lovers everywhere. Contestants battle it out to become the Masters of the Inquizition with Irish quizmaster Luke Ryan.

All the guests and Luke were part of a quiz team in spring, 2024 at our Friend, Alex’s weekly quiz in Prague. We went under the name, Stairway Else Matters, and we won the season! We had an afternoon out to spend our winning vouchers and recorded this episode.

In this episode, the title comes from some references to Chernobyl, the TV show, and the tragic nuclear disaster. Diego Maradona, the Medellin Cartel and Soviet pollical reform get mentions. There’s a new round, inspired by our quiz team, Stairway Forever, and a suitably frustrating final round featuring Tom Cruise, Phantom of the Opera, Steven Spielberg and a certain comet.

There is a bit of background noise as we recorded in a beer garden, so I hope it doesn’t take away from your enjoyment of the episode. Other than that, hope you like it!
