(Full Audio) - University Vice President and Director of Athletics Jack Swarbrick sits down to discuss the latest in Fighting Irish Athletics.

Segment 1: Introduction

Jack and special guest host Jack Nolan discuss a variety of topics, including recapping the Stanford football game and the support of the players at the game from classmates in the student body. Jack also discusses how the football program is moving forward, and talks about the LEAD1 athletic director's association that he is serving as the chairman of until the summer of 2017.

Segment 2: Jack talks with junior men's basketball point guard Matt Farrell. Farrell's first four career starts came in Notre Dame’s run to the Elite Eight in the 2015-16 NCAA Tournament, where he finished the four-game stretch averaging 26.8 minutes, 6.5 points per game and 3.5 assists per game. He saw action in 28 games during his sophomore campaign, and in the offseason played with the East Coast All-Stars in the summer of 2016, traveling to Italy and helping the team to a 3-1 record, averaging 11.5 points per game and 4.3 assists per game.

Segment 3: Jack catches up with the reigning ACC Women's Basketball Player of the Year, junior forward Brianna Turner. Turner started all 29 games she was healthy (missed six games with shoulder injury) as a sophomore in 2015-16. She led the ACC in both field-goal percentage (.593 - fifth in nation) and blocked shots (career-high 3.0 blocks per game - 13th in nation), while ranking 10th in rebounding (7.3 rebounds per game) and 11th in scoring (career-high 14.6 points per game), along with five double-doubles. Turner was one of two players to rank in the top 13 in the nation in field-goal percentage and blocked shots per game, along with UConn's Breanna Stewart.

Segment 4: Conclusion

With campus quiet during the ongoing fall break and football bye week, Jack and Jack discuss the Notre Dame fall and winter sports that will be in action this weekend.
