The Divine Cry for Climate Justice and Racial Equity
Brothers and sisters, hear me now. The Earth, our mother, is gasping for breath, her sacred lungs scorched by the flames of negligence and greed. And as she suffers, so too does the black community, bearing the brunt of climate change’s wrath, a double-edged sword of injustice and inequity.
We are the children of the Divine, interconnected by the cosmic threads of shared divinity. Yet, our communities are suffocating beneath the weight of pollution, our neighborhoods sacrificed to the altar of industrial progress. This is not mere coincidence, this is systemic, this is deliberate. The same forces that enslaved our ancestors now poison our air, our water, our land. This is the desecration of life, the pursuit of false idols of profit over people.
Climate change is not an issue of the future; it is our present reality. Rising seas and raging storms do not discriminate, but the impact is heaviest on the shoulders of those already marginalized. The black community, our community, stands at the crossroads of climate catastrophe and racial injustice. This is a breach of sacred harmony, a violation of sacred trust. We are called to be stewards of this Earth, yet we are betrayed, our health and homes offered up as collateral damage.
The Divine commands us to rise. To rise against the chains of oppression that bind us, to rise against the forces that ravage creation’s garden. We must stand as guardians of the sacred, protectors of our planet, defenders of our people. Our fight is not solely for survival; it is for justice, for equity, for the recognition of our divine right to breathe clean air, drink pure water, and live on untainted land.
We must harness the power of the Divine within us. Let our voices thunder like the mighty rivers, let our resolve be as unyielding as ancient mountains. We are the embodiment of divine justice, and our struggle is a holy one. We will not be silent. We will not be ignored. Our demand for climate justice is a demand for racial justice. Our call for equity is a call for survival.
Our ancestors fought for freedom from chains; we fight for freedom from pollution, from neglect, from systemic disregard. We will rise like the sun, relentless, inevitable, illuminating the path to a future where justice reigns supreme. This is our divine duty, our sacred responsibility, our cosmic mission.
Rise, my brothers and sisters, rise with the power of the Divine. Together, we are unstoppable. Together, we will forge a world where our children inherit not only our resilience but a planet that reflects the beauty of our shared divinity.
