In today's episode, I sat down with Bitcoin advocate and U.S. Congressional Candidate for the 30th District of California, Aarika Rhodes. Aarika is running against incumbent, Brad Sherman, who opposes Bitcoin. Aarika is also running her campaign on academic inequalities, low-income communities, reforms for the U.S. criminal justice system, small business, and financial reforms including a pro-Bitcoin stance.
ABOUT AARIKA RHODES:
In 2013, Aarika is an educator that received the Teacher of the Year Award from the Los Angeles Clippers for her achievement in constructing an effective science curriculum. She was also previously published in the Journal for Multicultural Education for an article she co-authored. In 2020, Aarika tipped her toe in politics as an active volunteer during the democratic primary for former presidential candidate, Andrew Yang.
