On this episode, I begin with a powerful introduction with a story about how a group of mothers in Dunblane, Scotland rallied to ban private handguns after their children were killed in a school shooting. I use that analogy to describe our current situation here, and how gun violence in the U.S has increased, and our failed efforts for successful gun legislation. After this, I spoke to Dr. George Schoenewolf, a psychoanalyst and author of The Mass Killer. He speaks with me about why mass shooters commit acts like these, how we can try to resolve and prevent this issue, and if there's hope for the future.
