In this beautiful world where we’re all made so differently, with unique gifts and strengths, we have a remarkable opportunity to appreciate one another’s creativity in whatever form it may take. David Chang unexpectedly found the art form of calligraphy, and after spending time in a church attic studying, developing, and perfecting his craft, realized that he could use his art as a form of spiritual expression and witness.

Quotes

“I got connected to this men's prayer group. And it was there that I learned the beauty of prayer and also the beauty of an intentional space of inviting the spirit in and having just a real authentic session, just crying out to God or just praising Him.” - David Chang

“I had never experienced prayer in that type of manner before. Something in my heart awoke and I remember there was a hunger.” - David Chang

“Things in my spiritual life began to come alive. It's almost like beginning to see things in color.” - David Chang

“There was this change happening in my heart and also my mind, and I started to have these encounters where I could just start to feel God.” - David Chang

“Calligraphy was just the beginning. It began more as a professional pursuit, and I became more technically proficient with calligraphy, and soon I was able to use it more as a spiritual expression to bless other people.” - David Chang
