Christian singer/songwriter Evan Craft had an important mission laid on his heart: to love his neighbor as himself by singing in the language of the vast majority of the population around him. At only 15, Evan decided to learn Spanish to connect with his neighbors and share uplifting messages of love, hope, and most importantly, community with one another through his words and his music.

Quotes

“When you love somebody as yourself, you want to be able to connect with them. That was what drove me to learn Spanish, so I could love my neighbors as myself. Being able to sing in someone's heart language is very powerful.” - Evan Craft

“I think I fight this achievement mentality of wanting to go and do more and help more people. I just sometimes remind [myself] that whether my events have 500 people, 200 people, or 10,000 people, I want to be obedient to God and I want to have eyes to see the blessings that He's given me.” - Evan Craft

“It's also been powerful to see people who have suffered from cancer, lost a child, been through so much in Latin America, connect with this music.” - Evan Craft

“We want to support the church to say, ‘Hey, we're the people that you can lean on, we’re the people that when there's a problem, we're the first to respond because of God's love.’ But I can't sing it if I don't live it.” - Evan Craft
