In this episode, I talk about the email that was leaked from Applebee's. A regional manager for the chain wrote an email outlining how to use current economic woes to get people working longer hours for low pay. This is not a good look for the chain, but also not a good look for our economy as a whole. The restaurant industry is not the only one exploiting their labor. Does exploiting labor really make that much money? Wouldn't it be better if more people had more money to spend? Sadly, exploiting labor does make a lot of money. However, more money in the hands of more people means more spending. Thank you for listening to The Jim Policast!!! Be sure to like The Jim Policast on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.
