Tribespeople! We have watched from the mountains, as people have butchered African names, dismissed heritage, and Africanness reduced to adhere to other cultures that are not ours and we can no longer allow such. Nevertheless, we are back and better and coming to you across more platforms than ever. In episode 1, season 3 we bring back the original conversation that allowed us to get this podcast on it’s feet, “where are you really really from?” If you recall, we promised ourselves to dig deeper into our heritage, and document the methods in which we did so. Past the heritage conversation, we discuss how our newly discovered information has improved relationships around us, and so forth.
