Liz has led the nonprofit Ripple Effect Images as executive director since 2020 and draws on her extensive experience across multiple sectors in pursuit of a world in which everyone thrives. She also specializes in helping purpose-driven people committed to serving others increase their positive impact, without compromising their own well-being. Liz has deployed globally in support of numerous programs empowering communities facing extraordinary challenges. As Director of Humanitarian Programs at Airlink, she led operations connecting nonprofits and the aviation sector to deliver disaster responders and
supplies in the wake of humanitarian crises worldwide. At InterAction, the largest US alliance of international nonprofits, Liz led policy and advocacy initiatives focused on the protection of civilians trapped in conflict.

Liz previously managed renewable energy infrastructure programs for Siemens Wind Power and delivered significant change programs within the UK public sector. Liz began her career as a logistics officer in the British Army, deploying to Iraq in 2003 where she overcame gender barriers and worked closely with the local civilian population to re-establish rail infrastructure.

Liz is currently a member of the groundbreaking Women Emerging Expedition seeking approaches to leadership that resonate with women. As a 2021-22 Fellow of the University of Missouri’s Reynolds Journalism Institute, Liz led the Simply No Words project harnessing the power of animation to reach underserved audiences with critical information, without reliance on words. Liz was also recently awarded the WomensNet Amber Grant recognizing
female entrepreneurs.

When not seeking out global change makers, Liz can be found reading voraciously or hiking with her husband and son.
