Alli Reed started sharing her passion for skincare on her blog The Acid Queen back in 2015 and soon she was using her background in chemistry to experiment with her own skincare formulations. This quickly developed into a side hustle, selling her first two products, Liquid Gold and Rewind, under the name Stratia. Fast forward 5 years and Stratia is a well loved indie skincare brand that bloggers can't stop raving about! Today Alli tells us her story of starting Stratia, how she was able to go full time with her 2 passions (skincare and chemistry) and shares a wealth of advice for those who may want to start their own business.
