Has the Philadelphia Police Department allowed drug abusers and robbers to become police officers? Apparently there are some serious flaws with the selection process of the Philadelphia Police Department. Could blatantly unqualified police candidates be allowed to join the police department? That is to say, are police candidates being accepted when they have engaged in the type of behavior that unquestionably demands rejection? Additionally, are obviously qualified police candidates being capriciously rejected to allow blatantly unqualified candidates entry into the Philadelphia Police Department? What negative impact will this have on the public? Have any laws been violated by high-ranking officials of the Philadelphia Police Department? Why have these apparent flaws gone undetected?
