In this episode, you’ll hear my conversation with one of the three founders of Freestar, Eddy Dallas.
Freestar is a bold and flavourful alcohol-free beer and is the first ever B Corp certified alcohol free beer brand in the world.
When developing Freestar, Dallas and his co-founders Felix & Charlie chose to go against the trend of big breweries who produce de-alcoholised versions of existing brands that aren’t good for people and planet. They went back to the drawing board and designed a new way of brewing whilst keeping sustainable practices in mind. The result is a drink that is packed full of flavour, emits 90% less CO2, uses 80% less energy, uses 80% less water and ends up with 70% less waste than normal alcohol-free beer production.
With their bold flavours, fearless branding, and impressive sustainable achievements, I was keen to learn more about Eddy’s journey, and how he and his cofounders are continuing to work on ensuring Freestar will be the example of transformational change in the industry.
