This episodes drops in the midst of the 2024 Summer Olympic Games in Paris, France which got us thinking, how many Olympic medal winners called Alaska home at some point in their lives? We've done the research and use our time this episode to go through all the Olympic medalists from the Last Frontier. We recorded this episode before the Olympics began, and so we want to give a special shoutout here to Alev Kelter who won the bronze medal as part of the women's Rugby Sevens Team! What sport represents a large percentage of these medals? Which athlete was almost derailed by screwdriver sabotage? And why was winning a bronze medal a huge disappointment?!
