It's been an exciting round of Super League action as Castleford Tigers tightened their grip on the League Leaders' Shield and Hull Kingston Rovers, with three games to go, have won the Championship. Will they push on and be automatically promoted?

After meeting in Round One where Leeds Rhinos lost to St Helens by two-points, the two sides met in Round 20 separated by two-points once again but in favour of the Rhinos this time to kick-start an exciting weekend of rugby league action. Friday night saw table topping Castleford Tigers taking on Hull FC, their closest rival to the Leader's Shield, in a game which went right down to the wire and finished 24-22.

Catalans Dragons came from behind on Saturday afternoon to take a big win over Leigh Centurions in France, the new Dragons head coach Steve McNamara's first win since taking charge. However will Centurions' Jamie Acton be facing a lengthy ban due to his actions lifitng a possibly injured Greg Bird by his shirt?

Also on Saturday evening Wakefield Trinity continued their challenge for a top-four spot whilst Warrington Wolves sought to get out of the bottom four, Trinity earned a big home win at Belle Vue and Garry Schofield is not blaming the coaches for the Wolves woes, he says the players are "disgraceful".

Sunday saw Wigan Warriors defeat the Widnes Vikings at the DW Stadium and Salford Red Devils notched another two points on the board against Huddersfield Giants to return to second in the Super League table.

Elsewhere Hull KR have won the Championship with three games to go before the split with a win over second-placed London Broncos. Halifax defeated Bradford Bulls to set up a mouth-watering tie against Toulouse this week for a place in the Championship top four.
